Urgent: Justice for Deimante Kedyte
[TW for sex trafficking, rape, violence, and pedophilia]
I received this email today from a friend and it disturbed me so much that I had to post it here and get the word out:
Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Acquaintances,
I dare to bother you with an urgent matter. Please take your precious time to literally save a life of a 7-year-old Lithuanian girl, Deimante Kedyte, who reported that her mother was continuously selling her to pedophiles when she was in her mother’s care (this is the girl’s testimony to her father: http://vimeo.com/14331400 ). Since Deimante reported the names of the people who are very powerful in Lithuanian politics, legal system, and businesses, the pedophilia case has never been resolved. Furthermore, the Lithuanian judges ruled that Deimante must be return to her mother’s care. No legal charges have been filed against her mother. The girl’s father was trying all possible legal means in Lithuania to protect his daughter, but his petitions were rejected. Thus, he produced this video as a call for help. Shorty after that, several people mentioned in this video were murdered, Deimante’s father disappeared, and he was found dead in a public place several months later. Other witnesses in this case either mysteriously disappeared, died, or ended up in a psychiatric hospital. Now, Deimante is the only witness in this case, and her transfer from her aunt’s place where she currently lives to her mother means that she would be neutralized as a witness and her life would be in danger. Her aunt, Neringa Venckiene, is a judge as well, and Deimante feels safe there, but it seems the legal system in Lithuania is trying really hard to deprive her of judicial immunity, so they would be able to use force against her and Deimante.
Tomorrow, a court will have a hearing about this case to approve using force for transferring the girl to her mother. Deimante is refusing to go to her mother, and her aunt is refusing to take the girl against her will. The judges decided in this case several months ago that Deimante must be returned to her mother, but hundreds of Lithuanian people surrounded the house where the girl lives and didn’t allow that to happen (

Now, the judges are prepared to end this case and neutralize the girl. Please contact all the appropriate institutions, organizations, and your representatives to inform them about this case and help save Deimante’s life. The officials in Lithuania are not afraid of anything except for international publicity and attention to this case. So, please also share about this case with other people through all media forms. Several supporting documents are attached to this e-mail where you can also find Deimante’s aunt Neringa’s contact information, if you need it. Please also visit this webpage, if you want to send your protest to the officials in Lithuania: http://kimberlylsmithblog.blogspot.com/ .
Thank you so very much!!
Sincerely,
Vilija Ball, Psy.D.Please reblog this and send it around. This is a case where spreading the word is the crucial factor in this.
